Exclusive Interview with Raymond Wright



Raymond Wright is a unique vocalist, who, no doubt, has the potential that can match the likes of Luther Vandros, Beres Hammond, Luciano and Barry White. Raymond Wright was born on November 11th, 1971, and raised in St. Catherine (Jamaica). He started his musical career by playing a variety of musical instruments and singing in his local church, where he also conducted singing lessons. His spiritual devotion and love for the church, led him to study theology, which he successfully finished obtaining a theological degree.

Exclusive Interview with Dreadzone



With a live tour in full swing and a new album just around the corner, UKRG caught up with them at the Endorse-IT Festival for a quick chat..

 

"We do have a lot of opportunity to play new stuff in the set, to try it out and see what it sounds like. We have been playing some of it for a while now and we've put even more new stuff in for for the Autumn tour. We'll most likely put a little CD single out or maybe another free download off the album and some special mixes. There's a few big singles coming and we want to kind of reinsert our place in the pop pantheon."

UKRG Interview with Zion Train



Zion Train are Dub/Dance pioneers and have been undisputed leaders in the genre for more than 15 years. The band are heavily involved in alternative and DIY underground culture and have been since the 90s as well as being purveyors of the finest Roots Reggae music throughout this period. They are one of the finest live dub acts in the world and promoted the practice of dynamic onstage dub mixing which they perform alongside acoustic instruments and the best live vocalists.

 

We caught up with Neil Perch from Zion Train at Endorse-it festival to ask him about the new album and tour.
